Touristic guides and companions :

Group shall be accompanied by a bi-lingual escort all through tour, as well as local guides at historical sites and locations.

Entry fees into touristic sites :

Tour program shall include costs of entry fees into historical and archeological sites and locations as planned in itinerary. Photographers shall be obliged to pay photographic fees of LD 5 for each still camera used at site, and LD 10 for motion picture and video cameras

 

 

Local Guides:

Guides available in the following languages : English, Italian, German, French, Spanish, Arabic, . In cities at cultural sites and in the desert, local guides are available to explain things of cultural, historical and natural significance. Interpreters are also available for those conducting business in Libya.

Group size :

On group tours to Libya, maximum is 40 persons, minimum is 2 persons.

I present you here an example of program which allies discovery of the desert and the Tuareg and culture of the Greco-Roman sites of North Libya. It is naturally possible to you to modify it by replacing, for example, in daytime in 4 X 4 by days of ride on camel, or by trekking. Answer me to propose me your suggestions

Day 1 : arrived at Tripoli ; night at hotel

Day 2 : Tripoli-Leptis Magna (bus) ; discovery of the site and the museum of Leptis ; night at hotel in Tripoli

Day 3 : Tripoli-Sabratha (bus) ; discovery of the site and the two museum of Sabratha ; night at hotel in Tripoli

Day 4 : Tripoli-Sebbha (airport) ; night in camping of Sebbha

Day 5 to day 9 : Sebbha-Matkhendush (4 X 4) ; discovery of Akakous

Day 10 : Akakous-Al Awaynat ; Al Awaynat-Germa ; night in camping of Germa

Day 11 : discovery of the area of lakes ; night in camping of Germa

Day 12 : Germa-Sebbha (airport) ; Sebbha-Tripoli (airport) ; night at hotel in Tripoli

Day 13 : visit of the old town of Tripoli, the souk, mosques and visit of the biggest museum of the country ; night at hotel in Tripoli
Day 14 : Tripoli- Transfer to airport

They shall communicate with you their knowledge and their respect for the desert.
