Touristic guides and companions :
Group shall be accompanied by a bi-lingual escort all through tour, as well as local guides at historical sites and locations.
Entry fees into touristic sites :
Tour program shall include costs of entry fees into historical and archeological sites and locations as planned in itinerary. Photographers shall be obliged to pay photographic fees of LD 5 for each still camera used at site, and LD 10 for motion picture and video cameras
Local Guides:
Guides available in the following languages : English, Italian, German, French, Spanish, Arabic, . In cities at cultural sites and in the desert, local guides are available to explain things of cultural, historical and natural significance. Interpreters are also available for those conducting business in Libya.

A comprehensive tour of the Roman and Greek cities of Libya including two days at the magnificent site of Leptis Magna and a visit to the enchanting oasis of Ghadames. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included throughout. Accommodation in 2, 3, 4 & 5 star hotels.
• Day 1 Arrival at airport of Tripoli. Transfer to Al-Kabir Hotel overlooking the Mediterranean.
• Day 2 Visit the centuries-old grain stores of Qasr al-Haj and Nalut. Continue to Ghadames for two nights at Al-Waha Hotel.
• Day 3 Sightseeing in the unique and enchanting oasis of Ghadames on the edge of the Sahara desert. Visit the old town with its labyrinthine passages and take lunch in a richly decorated traditional house. Late afternoon excursion to watch the sun set over the sand dunes; on the way, we visit the ruins of Qasr al-Ghoul (Castle of the Ghost), allegedly the remains of an old Roman fort, where the local inhabitants succumbed to a siege during the Arab conquest of Libya in the 7th century AD.
• Day 4 Drive to the Berber village of Kabaw to visit the fortified grain store and library of the writer, Buruni. Continue through the Jabal Nafusa mountain range to the panoramic hilltop town of Yfren and then to Gharyan where a visit will be made to a troglodyte house. Overnight at the Rabta Hotel.
• Day 5 Full day excursion to the magnificent Roman city of Leptis Magna. Overnight at the Zliten Hotel in Zliten.
• Day 6 See the Abd al-Salaam Mosque in Zliten before returning to the glorious site of Leptis Magna for further exploration. Continue to Sirt for overnight at the Medina Hotel.
• Day 7 Drive to Benghazi in eastern Libya. Late afternoon visit to the site of ancient Berenice and the Souk al-Jareed. Two nights at the Tibesti Hotel.
• Day 8 Visit the Greco-Roman city of Ptolemais (Tolmeita). Continue to Qasr Libya with its unique collection of mosaics. Continue to Al-Bayda for two nights at Al-Bayda Palace Hotel.
• Day 9 Full day of sightseeing at the extensive and remarkable Greek site of Cyrene, founded in the 7th century BC. Sites include the Temple of Apollo, Acropolis, Agora, Forum, Stoa of Hermes and Hercules, House of Jason Magnus and the Temple of Zeus.
• Day 10 Visit the ancient city-port of Apollonia. Return to Benghazi via the eerie funerary temple at Slontah and the site of ancient Teuchira (Tocra). Overnight at the Tibesti Hotel.
• Day 11 Return along the coastal road to Sirt. Overnight at the Medina Hotel.
• Day 12 Excursion to the Punic temple tombs of Ghirza. Continue to Misrata for overnight at the Koz al-Teek Hotel.
• Day 13 Excursion to the Roman city of Sabrata with its remarkable 2nd century Colonnaded Theatre and stunning mosaic collection. Return to Tripoli for two nights at Al-Kabir Hotel.
• Day 14 Full day sightseeing in Tripoli including the superb National Museum, Green Square, Algeria Square Cathedral, Church of Santa Maria, the 18th century British Consulate, the 17th century French Consulate, the Arch of Marcus Aurelius and the mosques and souks of the medina where lunch will be taken.
• Day 15 Transfer to airport for flight home.
